Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This page explains how f1nalone.com handles information when you visit the site or contact me. I’ve kept it as plain as possible because I know privacy policies are usually the last thing anyone wants to read.

I’m Arjun Mehta. I write this site to help first-time homebuyers in India navigate the final stage of buying a home — closing documents, registration, final checks, and moving in. This policy follows the same approach: clear, practical, and focused on what actually matters.

Information I collect

Most of the time, you can read everything here without giving me any personal information. There’s no sign-up, no paywall, and no account system.

If you choose to email me directly, I’ll see whatever you include in that message — your name, email address, the content of your message, and any attachments you send. I don’t add that information to a mailing list or share it with third parties.

The site may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as:

  • Pages you visit and how long you stay
  • Approximate location based on your IP address (city or region, not street-level)
  • Browser type and device type
  • Referring website or search term

This technical data is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and where readers are coming from.

What I don’t collect

This site doesn’t ask for Aadhaar numbers, PAN details, loan account numbers, property documents, or any other sensitive personal information. If you’re sharing those details with a bank, builder, or government portal, that happens outside f1nalone.com.

If you email me about your specific situation, please avoid including sensitive personal data unless absolutely necessary. I can’t guarantee the security of email once it leaves your inbox.

How I use your information

  • To answer questions you send me
  • To improve the site and fix confusing or outdated content
  • To understand which topics help first-time buyers most
  • To keep the site secure and prevent misuse

I do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Cookies and analytics

f1nalone.com may use basic analytics tools to see how people use the site. These tools rely on cookies or similar technologies to collect the technical information mentioned above.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work, though some analytics won’t be recorded. I try to keep this to a minimum and don’t use intrusive tracking.

Third-party services

I may use third-party services to host the site, measure traffic, or handle contact forms if they’re added later. These providers may have access to basic technical data as part of their normal operation. I only work with services that don’t require me to hand over personal details beyond what’s needed for the site to function.

This policy doesn’t cover the practices of websites I link to. If you click a link to a government portal, bank site, or builder page, their privacy terms apply to your activity there.

Data retention

If you send me an email, I keep it only as long as needed to respond and refer back to the conversation. I don’t have a system for storing personal data beyond my email inbox.

Your choices

  • You can browse without providing personal information.
  • You can request a copy of any personal data you’ve shared with me.
  • You can ask me to delete your email or contact details.
  • You can disable cookies in your browser.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has shared personal data with me, let me know and I’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle data, I’ll update this page. Significant changes will be noted here with a revised date at the top.

Contact

If you have questions about this policy or want to request changes to your data, email me at [email protected]. I usually reply within a few days, excluding travel or holidays.
