If you’re in the middle of buying a home and something about the final paperwork, final inspection, or handover doesn’t make sense, you can write to me directly.

I’m Arjun Mehta. I started F1nalone because I kept seeing first-time buyers get stuck in the last stretch of a home purchase — loan approved, seller ready, but the final steps around documents, payments, and possession still felt unclear. That’s exactly what I try to explain here.

You don’t need to be an expert or have a complicated situation. Most questions I get fall into a few common areas:

  • What to check during the final walkthrough before taking possession.
  • Which documents to verify and keep after registration.
  • How to sequence the final payment, stamp duty, and registration.
  • What to do if the builder or seller delays handover.
  • What to prepare for moving in after you get the keys.

I write specifically for Indian homebuyers, so examples mention stamp duty, local registration processes, and RERA when relevant. I can’t provide legal or financial advice, and my response won’t replace a lawyer or a bank official. But I can point you to the right checklist, explain what worked in similar situations, and help you ask the right questions.

The best way to reach me is by email:

I read every message myself. If you don’t hear back within a few days, please check your spam folder — sometimes replies about property documents end up there.

While you wait for a reply, you may find the answer in one of the guides already published on this site. Most first-time buyers feel less anxious once they see the steps written in plain language, one at a time.

Thanks for being here. I know the final stretch can feel overwhelming, but it’s also the part where everything starts to become real.
